If you have read it then you will probably figure it out. Course you could always cheat, but what fun is that?

So you think you know what the book is? Leave a comment and the winner will get a prize.

I’m probably not eligible for the damn prize… not fair that - especially since that photo was taken from my extra copy of the book in question. I still want a prize… what’s the prize?

Sorry, I’ve never read anything with the word “Metaphysics” in it. What are “metaphysics?” Is that like the study of metabolisms? (I hope I don’t have to tell you I’m just kidding. I really haven’t read the book though.)

Well, when I first read your post I disqualified myself on account of having recently seen your copy of Lila on the back of your commode. But in light of the underwhelming number of proffered guesses entered in this competition I have decided to respectfully submit my entry (viz., “Lila” by Robert M. Pirsig) in the hope of accommodating your intention to increase the commodiousness of LC as a valuable and uncommon global intellectual commodity.

If my entry wins, may I perhaps choose my own prize? If so, as my prize I would ask that LC’s honorable and highly valued visitors pirsig the spirit of our times on this thread?

But is pirsig a verb? Perhaps that would serve as a good starting point. What might it mean – if anything - to pirsig the age in which one lives? What exactly are we doing, and where are we going? It seems to me – and please bear in mind that I don’t have the answer – that knowing the answer to that question would be decidedly different from not knowing the answer. Anyway, it’s just a question.
