From wikipedia:
Fascism is a radical totalitarian political philosophy that combines elements of corporatism, authoritarianism, extreme nationalism, militarism, anti-anarchism, anti-communism and anti-liberalism.
Any questions?

How is democracy defined?

I just happened to read this wiki page yesterday. Then today blundered across this post.
My current studies of history have been painting a picture of repeated social/political views and I am now worried.
Who holds the reigns of our great American experiment? Do the people have enough power or free will to pilot this society? Do people have the ability to lead themselves and not horde wealth or power?
Are the human traits that keep us adventurous the same that drive us to conquer our neighbor? Or is it some animalistic grab for land, food, & reproduction?
